Geoff Harvey is a restless artist, a man on a painting mission. Not content to stay with one style, he challenges himself to leap into the unknown. Uniquely, he needs to jump between scales, and medium, from two dimensions to three, from painting to sculpture and back, to continue refreshing his eye
This selection by Robin and Carl and spanning the many years that he has been represented by the gallery, captures the evergreen themes in Harvey’s painting practice, the still life, interiors, nudes, landscapes and marine scenes all selected for their individual strength and charm
There is also Harvey’s whimsical irony present in the shows title; judging from his prolific output, he has never had an “idle moment”
