Harold Greenhill
Australian 1914-1995
Harold Greenhill (1914 – 1995) was born in New South Wales and studied in Sydney and Europe.
He was a painter and teacher, and known for his strong support of the Manly Regional Art Gallery. He exhibited regularly throughout his career including a retrospective exhibition of his artwork at the Manly Regional Art Gallery in 1979.
His work is held in the collections of The Art Gallery of NSW Sydney, The National Gallery of Victoria Melbourne and Manly Regional Gallery Sydney.
He won the Sulman Prize in 1950 with his painting Summer holiday.
