Ruminations

Rumination is the act of repeatedly going over events and conversations in the mind. It’s quite efficient as it requires only one participant and is not subject to litigation. It is particularly the domain of the old codger. Devising witty responses to insults long forgotten, reigniting resentment at people long dead and cursing the stupidity of others from a safe distance.
Rumination can often result in the act of making of sculpture and this is an excellent substitute for doing something worthwhile. What was once just a vague disgruntlement and discontent can be chiselled and carved into reality
